Spiritually, the feast is a day of abundance — mercy poured out, tenderness unveiled, the Heart of Jesus opened. A man who normally keeps Friday lean can let this day be full: a real meal at midday, a small celebratory ritual at dusk, and a renewal of consecration to the Heart that loves without measure.
