Galatians, chapter 2, verse 11-12
11
And when Cephas (Peter) came to Antioch,
I opposed him to his face because he clearly was wrong. 12
For,
until some people came from James,
he used to eat with the Gentiles; but when they came, he began to draw back and
separated himself, because he was afraid of the circumcised.
Peter
was afraid of James’ crew due to his inconsistency. The Church recognized the
freedom of Gentile Christians from the Jewish law. As we study righteousness
understand that a large part of righteous is to be consistent; in season and
out of season.
WARNING: consuming large amounts of yeast products can contribute to wanton
inconsistency!
