Saints, Feast, Family - Traditions passed down with Cooking, Crafting, & Caring  - August 4   Saint of the day: Saint John Vianney Patron Saint of parish priests & confessors Claire Day- Make  Irish Potatoes (hillbilly spelling)  Irish Mashed Potatoes  8-10 Potatoes  1 stick butter  1 cup sour cream 1 bar Philadelphia cream cheese 1/4 c chives 1 T salt  Peal and dice potatoes. Boil until fork soft. Put in mixer with other ingredients and blend until smooth.
