  Whit Monday MARY, MOTHER OF THE CHURCH-MEMORIAL DAY   Deuteronomy, Chapter 28, Verse 10 All the peoples of the earth will see that the name of the LORD is proclaimed over you, and they will be AFRAID of you.   Christ death on the cross was the fulfillment of the proclaiming of God’s name to all the peoples of the world; for over His head was placed a notice: King of the Jews.   It is thought-provoking to contemplate that Pilates notice was printed in three languages Hebrew, Latin and Greek. These three cultures in a sense represented the characteristics of God. The Hebrew’s were Gods people and represented the good of man and brought the idea that the person was created by God and is more valuable than the universe.  Latin the language of the Romans brought the idea that truth is the highest value and the Greeks culture brought the idea of beauty being the greatest value.   Trinity Sunday SUPERMAN   Jonah, Chapter 1, verse 16: 16  Seized with great  FEAR  of the LORD, the men offered sacrifice to the LORD and made vows.   Those leaders, who stop seeking new challenges; stop growing, inevitably stop leading. John Maxwell states, “When we stop sacrificing, we stop succeeding.” [1]   If you want to become a great leader, you must be willing to make sacrifices.   1.       There is no success without sacrifice. Every person who has achieved any success in life has made sacrifices to do so.   2.       Leaders are often asked to give up more than others. Leaders have to give up their rights. Leaders need to learn how to put others ahead of themselves. It’s not easy, but you need to give up more than the people you lead.   3.       You must keep giving up, to stay up.
