DAY 52 - OUR LADY OF GUADALUPE, PRAY FOR US POWER OF PRAYER The heroes of our faith are the warrior saints who have gone before us. God worked mightily and miraculously through them. Therefore, we must study their ways. In humility, obedience, and trust (H.O.T.), we ask: How did they remain so well connected, in such strong friendship with God, so that his river of supernatural grace could flow so freely through them? Thus Mary’s motherhood is not sentimental—it is theological. It is the hinge between heaven and earth, the place where divine initiative meets human consent. To honor her motherhood is to honor the mystery of God choosing to need us. It is to stand before ...

Tuesday-Family Holy Hour   A family Holy Hour answers the need of generous souls who desire to live more perfectly the spirit of the Enthronement  and who wish to do more (we might say much more) for the Most Sacred Heart by having a weekly family holy hour. Why Tuesday. To make reparations to the Sacred Heart for betrayals; for it was Tuesday of Holy Week that Judas first made a deal with the Sanhedrin. SMOKE IN THIS LIFE, NOT THE NEXT Tue, Sep 22 — Fall Begins Cigar: Oliva Serie V Melanio (Maduro) Drink: Redbreast 12 Single Pot Still Irish Whiskey Reflection: When the season of my life turns to autumn, what garments will clothe my soul? The equinox arrives, tipping the earth into the amber quiet of autumn. Leaves wither and fall, yet in the economy of grace, the close of earthly life is not decay, but the harvest of fidelity. How stark the contrast between the purgatorial flames of Innocent III and the radiant entrance of Father John de Lierre. Dying exhausted in the ...
