DAY 52 - OUR LADY OF GUADALUPE, PRAY FOR US POWER OF PRAYER The heroes of our faith are the warrior saints who have gone before us. God worked mightily and miraculously through them. Therefore, we must study their ways. In humility, obedience, and trust (H.O.T.), we ask: How did they remain so well connected, in such strong friendship with God, so that his river of supernatural grace could flow so freely through them? What do these "SEALS for Christ" teach us about the ideal spiritual disciplines, the ultimate daily regimen of prayer? Winnie the Pooh Day (An Iceman Story) Every family has its own canon of stories, but ours carries the Iceman—the man whose adventures freeze into memory and thaw only when retold on long roads, around camp tables, and in the quiet places where humor and grace meet.  American Library Assoc. founded in 1876 SMOKE IN THIS LIFE, NOT THE NEXT Tue, Oct 6 — St. Bruno Cigar: Dark Habano  Pour: F our Roses Single Barrel Reflection: Silence is the furnace where truth is forged. Bruno enters the calendar without spectacle. No visions, no public revelations, no dramatic interventions. His holiness is carved in quiet, in the long interior labor of a man who refuses to let noise colonize his soul. The Carthusian founder teaches that God’s deepest work is done in stillness, where distractions fall away and a man finally hears what has been calling to him all along. Silence becomes the discipline that reveals the truth of his life. Tonight’s Dark Habano suits Bruno’s gravity. Its deeper leaf, its steady burn, its unhurried strength mirror the Carthusian insistence that the interior life is built slowly, honestly, without ornament. Four Roses Single Barrel, with its clean finish and disciplined profile, echoes Bruno’s simplicity: nothing excessive, no...
