DAY 52 - OUR LADY OF GUADALUPE, PRAY FOR US POWER OF PRAYER The heroes of our faith are the warrior saints who have gone before us. God worked mightily and miraculously through them. Therefore, we must study their ways. In humility, obedience, and trust (H.O.T.), we ask: How did they remain so well connected, in such strong friendship with God, so that his river of supernatural grace could flow so freely through them? What do these "SEALS for Christ" teach us about the ideal spiritual disciplines, the ultimate daily regimen of prayer? Prayer is our outstanding supernatural resource for fighting the wiles of the enemy. Winnie the Pooh Day (An Iceman Story) Every family has its own canon of stories, but ours carries the Iceman—the man whose adventures freeze into memory and thaw only when retold on long roads, around camp tables, and in the quiet places where humor and grace meet. Smoke in this life, not the next Tue, Oct 13 — Devotion to the Holy Face / Miracle of the Sun   Cigar: Light Cameroon  Pour: Water + gratitude  Reflection: Obey like Fatima’s children. Do not run from grace. The Miracle of the Sun was entrusted to children who obeyed without hesitation. Lucia, Francisco, and Jacinta did not negotiate with Heaven; they simply received what was given. Their obedience became the narrow gate through which God shook the world. Fatima teaches that grace is never abstract — it arrives with a summons, and the soul must step forward. Devotion to the Holy Face carries the same demand. The Face bruised by blows and crowned with thorns does not ask for admiration but for surrender. To contemplate it is to hear Christ’s quiet question: “Why do you run away from grace?” He asks it without accusation, the way He asked Peter, “Do you love Me?” Grace approaches gently, yet men retreat because grace unmasks the illusions they have learned to cherish. M...
